A bit of lippy

No7 have trained some of their consultants to work with people suffering with the visible effects of cancer treatments. We have had people return to us a year down the line to say what a huge difference we made to their confidence. A little lipstick or a dab of blusher can help you look yourselves again. We are all volunteers and we love this part of our job. Making a difference using our skills and passing on that knowledge is truly amazing. Please pop in and meet us . Karen x

Eye liners

Hi everyone, a quick tip about eye liners for you. Using an eyeliner is a good way to emphasize your beautiful eyes when you have lost your lashes. Most ladies think it has to be a perfect straight line and they will go wobbly and get it wrong. Dot dash is the way to start. Gently dot-dash along the lash line . You can go back and fill in with more dot-dash as many times as you like. Use a No7 grey/brown kohl pencil (black is a little harsh) Karen xx

Moody Nails

Bad day , angry , fed up, excited , all these moods can be converted into a colour if we really think about it. Painting your nails with your mood is easy, totally non committal and reasonably cheap. I find myself doing it all the time . Bad tempered my nails will get painted red or orange. Excited and happy they might be yellow or bright pink. You could even paint every nail a different colour . Its easy and its fun and it can brighten your day. Karen BMBA 2030

Brighten your day

I find a really quick and easy way to brighten my day is to paint my nails in a bright colour. Yellow, orange , lilac they are all out there and reasonably priced. Painting your nails is non committal but can make a huge difference and , like i said " brighten your day". Why not go further, do them all different colours , or add a nail transfer. Its so easy to do. Karen W xx

Highlighting The Face

Hi, a highlighter is a quick easy way to brighten skin. Powder or cream its about where to apply it. Slightly above where you would put your blusher and sweeping outwards is the best. High on the cheek bone, under the eye and towards the outside of the face. Just a small amount will brighten the skin and give a healthy glow. A tiny amount on the bottom of the chin and your good to go and skin is looking gorgeous. Have a go or pop in and i can show you how. Take care Karen xx
